History and Meaning:
Inspired by the legend of Nazinha do Murutucú, this pendant harks back to an 18th-century tale when the caboclo Plácido found a small image of Our Lady of Nazareth on the banks of the Murutucú stream in Belém. The image mysteriously returned to the same spot even after being taken to Plácido's hut. This phenomenon repeated until, finally, the image was taken to the Governor's Palace. At the site of the apparition, a chapel was built, which later gave rise to the grand Basilica of Nazareth, one of the most important symbols of Amazonian religiosity.
How to Wear It:
This pendant is versatile—wear it alone on a delicate chain for a minimalist look or layer it with other pieces for a bold effect. Perfect for those seeking an accessory with historical, cultural, and religious meaning, whether for everyday wear or special occasions.
What Makes It Special:
The esmaltação paraense technique gives it intense, long-lasting colors, while 925 silver ensures premium quality. Plus, the unique design and the story behind the piece make it more than just jewelry—it’s an artistic and spiritual heritage of Pará.
